Wickliffe Fun Run

WOW, wolves! Students ran, walked and rolled with such joy during our annual Fun Run.

 

When the pack comes together, we can do amazing things! Congratulations on a successful Fun Run campaign that raised $20,573 for YOUR new playground. That brings the total playground fund donation to more than $40,000 with the PTO dollar-for-dollar match of all proceeds up to $20,000. You made a difference!

WICKLIFFE FUN RUN!

 

On Friday, October 20th, 2023, every student will be participating in the Wickliffe Progressive Elementary School Fun Run. Each child will be running/walking with other students in their grade during the school day to raise funds for our brand-new playground at Wickliffe. 

 

This year, the PTO is generously allocating 100% of the proceeds raised to support the fundraising effort for the new playground! On top of that, the PTO is offering a dollar for dollar match of all Fun Run donations raised, up to $20,000! If each student raises $40 for the Fun Run, we will obtain the full match. This will be the only PTO-sponsored fundraising effort this school year dedicated to the playground, and we need your help! Please ask your family members, friends, and neighbors for a donation to support your student's fundraising.

What to Expect? 

• Grades K-1:  8:30am-9:30am
• Grades 2-3 : 10am-11am
• Grades 4-5 : 12:30pm-1:30pm

 

We will have snacks and drinks for runners after the Run. All students who collect donations will be entered into a raffle to win a special activity for their class. 5 winners will be drawn from each grade level.

Ways to submit donations

Three easy ways for Parents / Caregivers to help submit pledge donations:

  1. Ask individual donors to contribute online, using this link: https://www.wickliffepto.org/form/m/241370

  2. Parents/caregivers can submit the total amount of cash collected by their student(s) online here. If individual donors would like to be recognized for their contributions, please list the name of each donor and the amount donated on the online form.

  3. Parents/caregivers can turn in cash and/or checks along with this form in the envelope that came home with your student. All checks should be payable to Wickliffe PTO. The envelopes will be collected at the Fall Fest (10/13/23) and at the school on the day of the Fun Run (10/20/23). Please do not send envelopes in with your child to school. PTO will handle directly so teachers and staff do not have to assist.
