A collaboration with Hilliard HART (Health Awareness & Recovery Together), this interactive program will allow attendees to explore a simulated teen bedroom to identify potential warning signs of drug and alcohol use and risky behavior. THE DANGEROUS TRUTH ABOUT TODAY'S MARIJUANA
THURSDAY, APRIL 13 | 6:30-8 p.m. | UAHS Performing Arts Center
*For 18+ years of age. Younger teens must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Through the generosity of Upper Arlington Rotary and UAHS, The Stand Project welcomes Laura Stack, founder of Johnny's Ambassadors. After presenting to the full UAHS student body during the school day, Laura will devote an evening program to parents and adults in the community. She will weave her personal story throughout a FACT-based - not FEAR-based - science presentation about marijuana: truths vs myths, how drastically the substance has changed in recent years, and the many dangers that today's high-THC marijuana products pose - especially to young developing brains and bodies.
